wireframes / low-fidelity screens

We created 5 pages: Home, About Us, Current Projects, Current Events, and Get Involved.

high-fidelity screens

We created an editorial-style website and implemented subtle colors into the background. To create different sections of the page, we contrasted the pagewith vermillion-colored backgrounds.

How might we create an overall professional but creative brand identity?

  • Well-rounded branding across the web page

  • ART/EMIS logo redesign

key goals

Understanding UI/UX

———————————————

This project cemented my understanding of the design process while introducing me to new UI/UX terminology. I also learned to sharpen my view for details that consider the user experience and interaction.

User Testing

———————————————

Working with a client, most of the design was catered to their needs. I think it would be interesting to see club members interact with the website and give their feedback to make adjustments.

Design practice

———————————————

This project served as a necessary catalyst for pinpointing areas of improvement in my design thinking and web design techniques. In the future, I would like to work with various types of design styles to expand my skills in interactive design.

Time Allocation

———————————————

Our team ran into some issues during prototyping, so we were on a limited timeframe to complete the project for our client. I realized the significance in dedicating ample time in the critique aspect of the project.
